Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is a type of tumor found on the globe, upper and lower eyelids, and third eyelid of cattle. It is most frequently found on the globe and in non-pigmented areas. It mainly affects Hereford and Simmental breeds of cattle and their crosses. Cattle between the ages of 4 and 9 are most commonly affected.

Symptoms

Rice-grain plaques on the eye
Proliferative irregular mass, possibly ulcerating through the skin of the eyelid
Blepharospasm
Brown lesions on the eyelid
