Lark daisy (Centratherum punctatum, formally C. brachylepis), known locally as "perpetua", is an annual native to South America and found in subtropical and tropical regions worldwide.
C. punctatum has been associated with numerous cases of poisoning in cattle, goats and sheep in Brazil. The toxic compound is unknown.
